March for Babies
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated has enjoyed a long partnership with the March of Dimes. In an effort to encourage women to seek prenatal care within the first trimester of pregnancy, thereby increasing the prevention of birth defects and infant mortality, the Sorority participates in the March of Dimes March for Babies Walk. The March for Babies Walk is the largest and most visible drive to secure funds to assist with and research the causes of premature births. Chapter members participate in the walk annually and volunteer with registration and the mission tent. Eta Pi Zeta Chapter has raised over $65,000 for the March of Dimes, and has received awards for raising the most funds in the Atlantic Region.
Additionally, Eta Pi Zeta has been recognized and won numerous awards for the Chapter’s Z-HOPE programming.
